Wrap sandwich in kitchen paper of simply place into clean lunch box.

Ask your child are they eating all their lunch many sandwiches are left in bins on a daily basis!

A teacher from the school is collecting bread crusts/ crumbs and giving them to local wildlife

Why not use a plastic bottle to put the drinks in and wash out daily.

Paper

Use journals to communicate with the teacher vs notes/envelopes

 A certain amount can be shredded and used in the compost.
Teachers will try and photocopy on both sides of the sheet.

Only when both sides are used will they be placed in the blue bin in school along with paper towel the children have used after hand washing.
